Adoption Services

LFSRM serves families as they look to create supportive, loving homes for children and youth in need. We also assist people adopted through domestic or international adoptions search for family members. 

Adopting from out-of-state/ICPC

Any party involved in an adoption in Colorado must work with a licensed Colorado adoption agency. LFSRM processes private interstate adoptions in accordance with the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children (ICPC). All states are members of the ICPC.

Foster to Adopt

The primary goal of foster care is to reunify children with their parents. However, if that option is not available, adoption or another type of permanent home is the secondary goal. Those interested in adopting through foster care must first become licensed as a foster parent.

At LFSRM, we understand what a big decision it is deciding to search for your birth family or child you placed for adoption. We want to share our perspective and knowledge on the search process with you and discuss all potential outcomes.
