This training is for volunteers in the Denver area.
LFSRM Volunteer Orientation: Refugee 101 is an interactive, self-paced, course on Canvas that offers an introduction to global migration, forced displacement, refugee resettlement, and the work of Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains (LFSRM). There are four modules that include video clips, online resources, and opportunities to share with us what you are learning. It will take 60-90 minutes to complete the course. You can progress through the modules at your own pace, and you do not need to complete the entire course at one time.
After finishing all the modules, please register and join us online for the second half of our training, hosted each month on Zoom by our Community Engagement Team.
