Denver Refugee Program - Volunteer Training Session 2

This training is for volunteers in the Denver area.

This online, live session is for volunteers who have completed Volunteer Orientation Session 1: Refugee 101. During this second half of our volunteer training, we will explore practical ways volunteers can partner with Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains to welcome, befriend, and assist refugee families as they begin new lives in Denver. We will learn more about cultural sensitivity, communication styles, and how teams of volunteers can work together to help newcomers settle into their new environments. This interactive session includes lively discussions and practical, role-playing scenarios.
