Adoptions from South Korea to the United States have occurred since the 1970s. Most children adopted from South Korea are relinquished by their birth mother and live in foster care. Most children are about 2 years of age at placement and may have minor special needs. LFSRM works with the following ASPs who place children from South Korea:

Children’s Home Lutheran Social Services
Holt International
Wide Horizons for Children
